THE BIBLE
We believe that although written by the hands of men, the Bible is fully inspired by the Spirit. The Bible reveals our God, speaks of salvation, and testifies of Jesus Christ as the coming King.
ONE GOD
We believe there is only one, living and true God. He has revealed Himself to the world as Father, Son, and Spirit and seeks even today for us to know Him.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is eternally God, but fully man. He is the eternal Son, conceived by the Spirit, born of a virgin, sinless in this world, dying for our wrongs on the cross, raised in God’s power, coming again for the church, and to judge every person. Through faith, Jesus is Our Lord and Savior.
SALVATION
We believe that salvation is God’s rescue from sin’s curse. On the cross, Jesus took our place in death, bringing the gift of new life to all who trust in Him. In faith, we are born again to live for the glory of God.
THE CHURCH
We believe that through the faith and fellowship of the gospel, every believer is adopted into God’s family. Local churches are essential for the life of the believer and as Christ’s witness in the world today. There is a church for every believer. Every believer needs to commit to a local church body.
BAPTISM
We believe that immersion in water is a testimony to others of our faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism speaks of dying to self and the new life we receive from the Savior. Baptism is not for salvation, but to identify as one committed to Jesus Christ.
RESURRECTION
We believe that all will stand before God. At the end of this age, all peoples will be resurrected, either to new life with Jesus Christ or unto eternal judgment. As the church, we are those who will stand before the Lord in worship.
